![]() Open the Template chooser, scroll to the bottom, locate and double click the template image, then add the text (and any photos), placing all in the Text box you placed on the template. Click on the little x to delete the text. ![]() If you open the certificate and see dummy text it will print if you print as-is. If you don’t want a certificate border but just a plain empty border then you can print the empty border only. Using the template will be much the same as using other templates: If you are using the border templates to create a certificate then click on customize and edit the text. The template will be saved in the "My templates" section of the list in the Templates Chooser. If you plan to use this document as the platform for several Christmas documents, You should now Save it as a Template, using the Save as Template menu item near the bottom of the File menu. You can choose to lock the text box at this time to keep it from being accidentally moved, but you will need to Unlock it when adding text to it. Adjust the size of the text box in the same manner as you did the border image. Return to the insert menu and choose Text to place a text box in front of the border image. When you have it properly sized, and centred on the sheet, use the Lock menu item in the Arrange menu to lock the border in that location. With the new Blank document open, Insert the border image using the Insert menu, then select the image and drag the handles at the corners of the image to enlarge the border to fit the page. If you expect to use the border on one or more pages of multi page documents, use the Blank Word Processing template. Change the color of your paper and youll have a whole new look. You can print your Christmas stationery on regular computer paper or on cardstock. If all of the documents you expect to use this on will be single page items, use the Blank Page Layout template. This free Christmas stationery can be used for Christmas newsletters, letters from Santa, Dear Santa letters, or any other correspondence or notes around the holiday. The only way to add a decorative border to your Word document is to use the built-in page border options. After you have downloaded the border image to your Mac, Open a new Pages document using one of the Blank templates.
